Another thing worth pointing out is that the BeyerDynamic DT990 Pros aren’t gaming headphones. In reality, many gaming headsets aren’t as good as a good pair of headphones, and using them separately is better.
Finally, the DT990s have a high impedance (250 ohms), meaning you need an amp or DAC to use them. If you connect them to a regular computer audio jack, it won’t have enough power to drive them. This might be a downside for some people, but it’s not a big deal.
